Chamber Music from the Bard College Conservatory of Music

Chamber musicians from Bard's Conservatory of Music will perform in Central Europe from January 10-17, 2013. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your friends and family to see these musicians in an intimate setting. If you want to attend any of the performances, please contact David Nagy '13 at

Violist Peter Barsony and Robert Martin, director of the Bard College Conservatory of Music, will join eight Conservatory students and an alumna (Renata Rakova '12) for chamber music concerts in Debrecen, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Brno, and Prague from January 10-17, 2013.  The program will include works by Dohnanyi, Mozart, and Schubert, and the premiere of a new work for flute quartet by a Conservatory undergraduate composer, Sunbin Kim.

The Rector of the Liszt Academy will introduce the concert at the new Budapest Music Center; the U.S. Embassy will present the Conservatory of Music at the Pallfy Palace in Bratislava, and in Vienna, the Conservatory will be jointly presented by IES Abroad Vienna and the Konservatorium Wien University.
